The grapes, which are vinified in the new winery of
S. Michele/Appiano, ripen on the sunny slopes with excellent soil conditions of the best private estates, situated between
S. Maddalena, near Bolzano, and the Lago di Caldaro.
In the new Red Tower, built on four floors, traditional wine-making techniques blend perfectly with the most modern technologies. Grapes are plunged so that they are not crushed by any mechanical movement whatsoever. After a delicate and accurate process, the wine is settled in barrels where it matures and reaches perfection. This enhances all the characteristics of harmony and structure typical of the wine. Ancient values, modern techniques, excellent results.
