Ignaz Brigl, the present head of the family, has contributed to the development of the firm. In the 70's, he invested in new technologies for the pressing, storing and bottling processes. In the 80's, the market demanded great wines, preferring above all the Brigl brand, which has always focused on quality and originality.
Nowadays, Ignaz Brigl, who is the managing director since 1964, runs the firm with his son Josef. The great experience has been passed down from father to son, through many generations, enhancing, improving, and handing down wine knowledge. It is therefore clear why, in the wine-growing field, the name Brigl has always been synonymous with quality, accuracy, tradition and innovation. It skilfully combines traditional methods with state-of-the-art cellar techniques, as the new winery in S. Michele/Appiano shows. |
